Man arrested for disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police cited Troy Wade Loeffler, 30, for disorderly conduct at 1:53 a.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St.

 

Woman arrested for probation violation

Police arrested Kristyn Sue Fredrickson, 34, for a probation violation at 5:50 a.m. Friday at 322 E. Third St.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:14 a.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 12:23 p.m. Friday at 522 Prospect Ave. The incident reportedly took place the night prior.

 

Man cited for assault, disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police cited Bryant Mayberry, 34, of Waseca, for fleeing officers on foot, disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault after a reported fight at 1:54 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St. One person was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea from the fight.

 

Brick thrown at window

A brick was reported thrown at a window at 2:28 a.m. Saturday at 329 W. College St.

 

Woman arrested for restraining order violation

Police arrested Amber Rose Oakland, 36, for violation of a harassment restraining order at 8:36 p.m. Saturday at 914 Bridge Ave.

 

1 injured in crash

One person was injured after a three-vehicle crash Sunday morning at the intersection of Blake Avenue and East Main Street.

According to police, Gregorio Linares, 31, was driving westbound on East Main Street in a 2002 Town & Country van when he reportedly failed to yield to a red light at the intersection and collided with a 2001 Ford pickup that was southbound on Blake Avenue preparing to turn east. The pickup was driven by Benjamin Chris Larson, 33.

Larson’s vehicle in turn collided with a 2003 gold Ford Expedition, which was side by side with Larson’s vehicle and driven by Jay Bangert, 50.

Larson was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, according to police.

Police cited Linares with failure to yield right of way and not having a Minnesota driver’s license.

 

Fire starts in garage

Albert Lea police received a report that someone had attempted to start a fire at 1:05 p.m. Sunday in a garage at 1004 E. 18 1/2 St. There are no suspects.

 

Vehicle damaged

A vehicle was reported damaged at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at 1200 James Ave.

 

Lawn mower stolen

A lawn mower was reported stolen at 9:26 p.m. Sunday at 727 W. Front St.

 

Fence damaged

A fence was reportedly hit by a car sometime overnight Monday at 419 W. 11th St.
