Multiple burglaries reported

A burglary was reported at 3:52 p.m. Sunday at 80008 180th St., Albert Lea.

Police received a report at 7:21 p.m. Friday that someone had reportedly broken into a house at 902 Frank Ave. and trashed the house. The owner was unsure at that point if anything was missing.

A burglary was reported at 10:36 p.m. Friday at 1517 S.E. Marshall St.

 

Vehicles tampered with

Vehicles were reported tampered with at 8:16 a.m. Friday at 405 E. Eighth St.

 

Thefts reported

Thefts were reported Sunday afternoon and evening at abandoned Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad tracks in Hartland.

A phone was reported stolen at 8:55 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St.

Copper wire was reportedly stolen at 12:11 p.m. Friday from 704 Madison Ave.

 

1 arrested for meth possession

Albert Lea police cited Shaun Edward Whelan, 28, for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 5:07 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Front Street.

 

1 arrested for weapons violation

Albert Lea police arrested Robert Damian for having an uncased BB gun, a gross misdemeanor, at 5:26 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Front Street.

 

Man arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Cristobal Teodora Del Angel, 27, after receiving a report of a domestic assault at 8:36 p.m. Saturday at 624 E. Hawthorne St.
