Naeve Hospital Auxiliary makes donation

Naeve Hospital Auxiliary recently awarded Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with an annual gift exceeding $100,000. Scholarships and clinical areas that impact patient and employee safety and services at Mayo Clinic Health System were among the recipients of these funds. Items included were chemo prep hood compliance, IV pump standardization, security camera upgrade, ARMOR Radio System, patient status display board in Ambulatory Surgery Unit and scholarships.
In addition, the 120 auxiliary volunteers contributed 11,903 volunteer hours in 2014 to support 14 programs and service offerings.
The auxiliary, founded in 1906, is a group of volunteers that serves Mayo Clinic Health System patients and families in Albert Lea and raises funds for equipment, furnishings and patient care items.
