John Kelly, 59, of Albert Lea, is the a sales associate with Motor Inn Co.

Kelly talked with the Tribune about his interest in automobiles and some of his personal favorites.

 

Q: What interests you about automobiles?

A: That they are constantly changing and improving.

 

Q: What is your favorite car make and model?

A: I have too many.

 

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Meeting the people, our customers.

 

Q: Have you always wanted to work with automobiles?

A: My dad was a car guy, and it’s something I took an interest in at an early age.

Q: What is your favorite memory working with automobiles?

A: Working with my dad on our cars.

 

Q: Where did you grow up?

A: 210 S. Pearl St. in Albert Lea.

 

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I’m trying to play a little golf again. I don’t hunt or fish as much as I need to.

 

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Just about anything on the grill.

 

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.” I’m kind of old school.

 

Q: What is one interesting fact about you?

A: I recently became a grandfather for the first time.
