MOORHEAD — A semitrailer carrying a tall railroad crane struck the underside of three overpasses along Interstate 94 in Moorhead, causing slight damage.

The incident happened Sunday on westbound Interstate 94.

The State Patrol said the truck first hit the overpass at 34th Street, then went more than a mile before hitting the railroad track bridge and the overpass at 20th Street.

State transportation officials inspected the bridges for structural damage. The pedestrian and bicycle portion of the 20th Street was the only bridge that had enough damage to remain closed Sunday afternoon.
