Gov. Mark Dayton orders flags flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Chattanooga, Tennessee

In accordance with the proclamation issued today by President Barack Obama, Dayton has ordered all United States flags and Minnesota flags to be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings in the state of Minnesota, from now until sunset on Saturday in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Chattanooga.

On July 16, senseless acts of violence were perpetrated against innocent people, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the victims and their families deserve our honor, respect, and remembrance, according to Dayton.
