Hit-and-run crash reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported in Albert Lea at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday. The crash reportedly involved a Kia Forte. No other details were available as of press time.

 

Bike stolen

A six-speed red and black mountain bike was reported stolen at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday at 2510 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea. The bike had reportedly been on the back side of the mall for an hour and 15 minutes and someone took it.

Albert Lea resident scammed

Albert Lea police received a report of a person being scammed out of $2,000 at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday at 1914 Grand Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Identity theft reported

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an identity theft at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at 86870 230th St. near Oakland.
