Man found dead under skid loader
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a male was reportedly found dead under a skid loader Saturday night in rural Alden.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident at 9:50 p.m. at 18451 650th Ave.
Sheriff’s logs indicate the person was a male but did not indicate the name or age.
More information is expected to be released once the investigation is complete, according to Sheriff Kurt Freitag.
1 injured in crash
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car striking a deer at 9:56 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 69, south of Twin Lakes. A man had reported neck pain and was taken to the hospital.
Thefts reported
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an alleged theft from a locked vehicle at 12:09 p.m. Friday at 29778 835th Ave. in Ellendale. The alleged victim said she knew who took her property. A guitar, computer, and tools were allegedly taken from the locked car.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft at 5:22 p.m. Friday at 105 North Star Road in Alden. Two motorcycles allegedly left without paying for $28.54 in gas. The two alleged suspects were called and paid over the phone.
