Allyssa Danielle Sorenson and Brian Royce Tomlinson announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Sandi Sorenson of Albert Lea. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2009 and from St. Olaf College in Northfield in 2013 with a degree in biology. She currently attends the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and will graduate in December 2015 with a degree in occupational therapy.

The groom is the son of James and Bonnie Tomlinson of Rochester. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida, in 2009 and from St. Olaf College in Northfield in 2013 with a degree in psychology. He is employed with Marketing Architects in Minnetonka as a digital analyst.

An Aug. 22, 2015, wedding is planned at Three Oaks Vineyards and Winery in Albert Lea.
