“South Pacific” is a happiness pill!

We are so blessed and lucky to have the ACT 50th season of wonderful plays for our community.

“South Pacific,” which is playing for another week, is absolutely glorious. The cast is outstanding. They acted, danced and sung their hearts out. They were having as much fun performing as the audience was watching and enjoying them.

The songs are classic Rogers and Hammerstein songs. You’ll go home singing and humming those songs for days.

Run — don’t walk — to the Marion Ross theater to get your tickets for this week’s performance. This week performances are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

If you do not enjoy this play, I will give you double your money back.

The live performance for the live audience is very special, and we as a community should support ACT, Civic Music concerts and now we have the Met Opera, too, on Saturdays at the theater. They are broadcasted live.

I’d like to say to the “South Pacific” cast: Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are the greatest.
