Terrie died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester surrounded by her loving family. She gently left a life of love, laughter and creativity. She was 72.
Terrie was born June 7, 1943, in Seattle, the daughter of Harold (Dale) and Theodora (Rice) Fox. She graduated from high school in Chico, California. On Nov. 10, 1972, she was united in marriage to Bill Sager at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Terrie spent most of her life in Albert Lea as a stay at home mother of three children. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and in her free time enjoyed her beloved pet dog, Lucy. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a caring woman of great strength and inspiration. She took great pride in the perfection of her home, her yard and her fashion — and especially spending time with family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William, of Albert Lea; children Derek and his wife, Julie Sager, of Albert Lea, Denise and her husband, Paul Boyken, of Lake Mills and Darcie and her husband, Don Gilster, of Hartland; grandchildren include Jenna (Tim Kuphal) Sager and great-grandson, Kaidyn Kuphal, Alyssa Sager, Mathew Sager, Dillan and Devan Register, and Cassie and Seth Gilster; mother-in-law, Eileen Sager, of Fairmont; and sisters-in-law Sharon (Tony) Wayne of Albert Lea and Nancy (Cary) Bergo of Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her so much.
