Thefts reported
A theft was reported to Albert Lea police at 5:02 a.m. Wednesday at 111 Adams Ave. in Albert Lea. The alleged victim said he had set his lunchbox, a Blue Igloo with a white lid and handle, down outside beside his truck, ran inside and discovered it was gone. The alleged victim reported missing his vehicle keys, $800 in cash, tools, etc.
A theft was reported at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday at 500 Frank Ave. in Albert Lea, near the city pool. An Eddie Cochran plaque of unknown value was reported missing from a large rock near the intersection of Frank Avenue and Front Street. It was unknown when the plaque went missing but it was allegedly discovered about a week or so ago.
A bike was reported stolen at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday at 202 S. Third Ave. in Albert Lea. The pink and lime green bike was reportedly stolen sometime between Friday and Sunday from the front yard.
House reportedly broken into
A purse was reported taken at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday from 611 Cherry Ave. in Albert Lea. The purse was allegedly taken from the house sometime after midnight. The alleged victim wasn’t sure if the purse was stolen or just missing. A driver’s license, credit cards and $75 to $175 cash was reportedly in the denim-colored small soft leather purse. It was unknown whether the house was locked or unlocked.
Flashlight shining through house
Albert Lea police received a report at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday of a flashlight shining through a house at 1902 Wilby Road in Albert Lea. The alleged incident reportedly happened at approximately 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Motorcycles reported drag racing in A.L.
Issues with motorcycles drag racing on the 900 block of North Shore Avenue were reported to Albert Lea police at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday.
Man arrested for domestic assault
Joseph Olson was arrested for domestic assault at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday at 1432 Frank Hall Drive in Albert Lea.
