1 person dies after rollover near Kensett

KENSETT — One person died Thursday morning after a car went off the road and rolled near Kensett in Worth County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 1999 Mazda was reportedly heading southbound on U.S. Highway 65 at 9:09 a.m. when it had a tire blowout, lost control and started to roll. The car reportedly rolled approximately 25 yards and then came to a rest.

It is unclear if there were any passengers.
