5 arrested on weapons, drugs, stolen property accusations

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Five people have been arrested in Douglas County on possible charges related to weapons, drugs and stolen property.
Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at a rural property Thursday. Five people in the house fled into the nearby woods, but were later taken into custody.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Schnell said some of the five have felony warrants pending in the Twin Ports area. The five are being held in the Douglas County Jail.
