The Albert Lea wrestling team participated in a wrestling camp at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. The camp was directed by Luther wrestling head coach Dave Mitchell. In 2014, over 1,000 athletes from over 70 teams in seven states participated in the camp. This year, Albert Lea’s Garrett Aldrich and Joe Peterson earned Wrestler of the Day honors from camp counselor Cole Van Anrooy. Van Anrooy was Albert Lea’s camp coach and provided wrestlers with written and verbal feedback throughout the camp. The Albert Lea wrestling team is coached by Larry Goodnature, Neal Skaar, Josh Bain, Ryan Palmer and Brandon Klukow.
