A woman shoplifter was reported at 1:19 p.m. Friday at Walmart in Albert Lea.

 

Two arrested for violations

Arturo Jesus Navarette was arrested on local warrants and Edward Vela was arrested on fifth-degree drug possession at 7:40 p.m. Friday at 521 Euclid Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Attempted burglary reported

Someone reportedly tried to break in through the front door at 4:20 p.m. Saturday at 127 Elizabeth Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

A car that was described as a Nissan reportedly backed into a Ford Explorer and took off toward East Main Street at 12:55 a.m. Sunday at 1318 E. Main St. in Albert Lea.

 

3 arrested on local warrants

Jonathon Kevin Whelan was arrested on a local warrant at 8:29 p.m. Friday at 329 W. College St. in Albert Lea.

Dalton Edward Hintz was arrested on a local warrant at 11:24 p.m. Friday at 1105 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea.

Randall James Mitchell was arrested on a local warrant at 7:41 p.m. Saturday at 800 S. Fourth Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

1 cited for drug paraphernalia

Jace Michael Kamish was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:29 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East Hawthorne Street and Valley Avenue in Albert Lea.

 

2 arrested for assault

Phillip Robert Ingvaldson was arrested for fifth-degree assault at 1:08 a.m. Sunday at 130 W. College St. in Albert Lea.

Linda Jane Crom was cited for fifth-degree assault at 10:10 p.m. Friday at 1105 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Criminal damage reported

A carwash credit card reader machine was reportedly broken into and damaged Friday night at 2222 E. Main St. in Albert Lea. The alleged incident was reported at 5:22 p.m. Saturday. Damage was estimated at $300.

A vehicle was reported damaged at 5:47 p.m. Sunday at 205 South Lane in Albert Lea. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
