Forrest Henry Passer, 93, of Albert Lea died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Hidden Creek Assisted Living in Albert Lea. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wells United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ken Haack will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at Rice Lake Cemetery in Foster Township, Faribault County. Military honors will be accorded by the Kiester American Legion post. Family prefers memorials to the Rice Lake Cemetery Association. Please leave online condolences at brussheitner.com. Forrest Passer, 1922-2015

Forrest Henry was born Feb. 25, 1922, in Foster Township, the son of Henry W. and Mable I. (Shirk) Passer. He was united in marriage to Rachel Scherb on Nov. 19, 1944, in Kiester. He was a member of Wells United Methodist Church. Forrest loved family, farming, flying, fishing and friends.

Forrest is survived by his children Brian Passer of Kiester, Claudia Dolf of Maynard, Iowa, Jeff (Judy) Passer of Kiester, Cheryl (Brad) Propp of St. Peter and Darin (Rebecca) Passer of Albert Lea; 14 grandchildren, Brad (Meg) Dolf, Shelley Dolf, Ryan (Beth) Dolf, Tim (Katina) Passer, Kenny Passer, Jacob Passer, Emilie (Cody) Kenworthy, Marcie Kendall, Sarah Passer, Forrest Passer, Samantha Passer, Garrett Passer, Miata Erickson and Reid Passer; and 12 great-grandchildren, Rachael, Adam, Nathan, Quaid, Hayden, Owen, Ethan, Ella, Nolan, Mason and Macy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rachel; son, David; twin infant grandsons, David and Samuel Passer; brother, Robert Passer; sister, Vidella (Harry) Steckelberg; and one nephew, Melvin Steckelberg.
