Man wanted in Minneapolis killing arrested in Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa — A man wanted by police for a killing in Minneapolis has been arrested in Des Moines.
According to a press release, 23-year-old LeShannon Merrett was arrested late Wednesday after a brief foot chase. Police said he is wanted for second-degree homicide in Minnesota’s Hennepin County.
He is being held in the Polk County Jail.
