More details released from Tuesday morning fire
More details have been released in connection with a multiple car fire Tuesday morning at the Alamco parking lot at 1410 W. Ninth St. in Albert Lea.The two vehicles involved in the fire, a Nissan minivan and a Buick sedan, were a total loss. Two other vehicles were in the area and sustained minimal damage. The cause of the fire is undetermined, with the most likely cause being ignition from smoking materials. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were turned over to their owners. Damage was estimated at $4,700. The fire was extinguished by the Albert Lea Fire Department. Albert Police Department assisted. The incident was reported at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday.
Injury traffic crash reported
An injury traffic crash was reported at 12:52 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Frank Hall Drive and East Seventh Street in Albert Lea. An elderly male in a Buick reportedly rear ended a trailer. The male was apparently bleeding from the mouth. He wasn’t taken to the hospital.
Man arrested on local warrant
Jose Alarcon Jr. was arrested on a local warrant at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday. at the intersection of West Front Street and Madison Avenue in Albert Lea.
Phone scam reported
A phone scam was reported at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday at 238 S. Broadway in Albert Lea.
Bicycle reported stolen
A bicycle was reported stolen at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday at 514 E. Seventh St. in Albert Lea.
