Julie Frederick

Julie Irene Frederick, 50, of Wells died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Wells at a later date. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home of Wells is in charge of arrangements.

Mavis Rognes

Mavis Vivian (Olson) Rognes, 92, of Lake Mills, died Monday, ­­Aug. 10, 2015, at Lake Mills Care Center. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church in rural Joice, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 E. Main Street in Lake Mills, and again one hour prior to the service at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
