Rep. Peggy Bennett, R-Albert Lea, issued the following statement congratulating area 2015 Farm Families of the Year:

“We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to these and all farm families for the work they do to put food on our table, fuel in our cars, and provide jobs for thousands of Minnesotans all over the state. It’s great to see these families recognized for their hard work and dedication to the agriculture community, and I want to congratulate them on this award.” Bennett is preparing House resolutions for each of the families to recognize their award.

Freeborn County family farms receiving the award included Frontier Family Farms and Cole and Katie Pestorious and family.
