Criminal damage to property reported
Someone reportedly cut a screen on the front door of a house between 8 and 9:30 a.m. Monday at 616 James Ave. in Albert Lea. It was reportedly the second time it had happened. Damage was estimated at $10.
Windows were reported broken out of a black Chevy pickup at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday in Conger.
A driver’s side window was reported broken by either a BB gun or a rock at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday at 1106 Frank Ave. in Albert Lea.
A vehicle was reported damaged at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at 2215 E. Main St. in Albert Lea.
A.L. man injured after being thrown from car
One person was injured after he was reportedly thrown from the hood of a car at 4:04 a.m. Saturday at 212 First St. SE in Clarks Grove.
His condition was unknown as of press time.
Anderson was initially taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and then to Rochester, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Anderson was reportedly injured after he jumped on the hood of a car driven by Tawni Hammer of Clarks Grove, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. Anderson and a friend didn’t want her to leave because of how much she had drank.
Anderson allegedly ended up getting thrown off the hood of the car.
Hammer was booked and released for fourth-degree driving under the influence.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Bike reported stolen
A silver NEXT power climber mountain bike was reported taken at 10:05 p.m. Monday from 807 Garfield Ave. in Albert Lea. The bike was reportedly taken from the backyard of the residence between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. The bike was valued at $100.
Man arrested for domestic assault
Police arrested Gennis Cortez Adams for domestic assault at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday at 1611 Margaretha Ave. in Albert Lea.
Car fire reported
A car fire was reported at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Alamco Wood Products.
