ST. PAUL — Authorities said three people have died in motorcycle crashes in Minnesota over Labor Day weekend.
The Minnesota State Patrol said 29-year-old Adam Michalski of Clearwater died Monday after an SUV collided with his motorcycle north of Garrison. According to a press release, a 66-year-old SUV passenger was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries, while the vehicle’s driver and four children had injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
According to a separate press release, a motorcycle passenger was killed in a crash Saturday in Oakdale. The State Patrol said a motorcycle driver died Sunday after hitting construction equipment in a closed-off construction zone in Washington County.
The state Department of Public Safety said late last month that the number of motorcycle fatalities this year had surpassed the total for all of 2014 in Minnesota.
