Cellphone stolen

An LG G Stylo cellphone with a pink case was reported stolen out of a car at 1:14 a.m. Friday at 1210 E. Main St. in Albert Lea. The cell phone had an estimated value of $500.

 

Fraudulent card reported

A man allegedly tried to use a fraudulent card at 11:51 p.m. Thursday at Hy-Vee in Albert Lea. The male was described as being 300 pounds and approximately in his mid-30s. He was described as being tall and having tattoos. He reportedly took off in a black Audi when 911 was called. Information was sent to Mower and Worth counties.

 

Truck fire reported

A pick-up truck was reported on fire at 8:29 p.m. Thursday on a southbound lane of Interstate 35 south of Albert Lea, between mile markers 5 and 6. No injuries were reported. The Albert Lea Police Department assisted with traffic control.
