Goodell brothers lead Tigers

The Albert Lea boys’ cross country team took third place out of eight teams Tuesday at the Mankato West Invitational at Minneopa Golf Club.

Jackson Goodell led the Tigers in second place with a time of 15:32.8, and his brother, Carson Goodell, finished third in 15:57.1 out of 60 runners.

The Albert Lea girls’ team took eighth place out of nine teams. Quinn Petersen led the Tigers with a time of 20:32.9 for 23rd place out of 62 runners.
