Marlon Charles Born, 79, passed from this life and entered the heavenly gates on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, in Spring, Texas.
He loved to fish, garden and create fun woodworking projects for his family and friends. He enjoyed his weekly time at the fitness center.
Marlon was a proud Teamster and served in the United States Army. He was so very proud to be an American. The son of Henry and Luverne Born, Marlon was born and raised in Waseca. He raised his own family in Lake Crystal. He was a long-time resident of Springfield, Missouri, and a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he had many dear friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Albina; sons Chuck and wife, Judy, Gordon, Jody and wife, Kim, and Steve; daughter, Debbie Born-Short, and husband, Mark; as well as his sister, Bethel Miller, and brother, Jerry Born.
Marlon was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Mike, Brianna, Angie, Chris, Sarah, Marshall, Kassady, Tristan, Colton, Amy Ann, Stevie Reye and Jason. His pride and joy was his 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia, Texas.
