FALCON HEIGHTS — The final day of the 2015 Minnesota State Fair has set a Labor Day attendance record.
Fair officials said 178,867 people attended the Great Minnesota Get-Together on its final day Monday. The previous Labor Day turnout record was 164,227, set in 2013.
In total, 1,779,738 people visited the fair over its 12-day run. According to a press release, that’s the fourth-highest attendance in fair history. The total attendance record of 1.8 million visitors was set last year.
