Multiple thefts reported

Two guns were reported stolen at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday at 212 Burr Oak Drive in Albert Lea. Hunting equipment and a cellphone were also reported stolen, and gun cases were reportedly thrown on the road. One person was identified as a suspect. The guns were recovered Tuesday afternoon in the yard of a nearby residence.

Gas and a locked gas cap were reported stolen at 7:14 a.m. Friday at 515 Raymond Ave. in Albert Lea.

A phone was reported stolen at 10:23 a.m. Friday at 1804 S.E. Marshall St. in Albert Lea. The phone was valued at approximately $100.

A 12-year-old female was cited for shoplifting and released to her mother at 2:24 p.m. Friday at Walmart in Albert Lea.

A purse was reported stolen out of a car at 3:12 p.m. Friday at 118 N. Fourth Ave. in Albert Lea. The purse was reportedly stolen between Wednesday night and Friday afternoon.

Police arrested Joel Rodriguez for gross misdemeanor providing false information, no Minnesota driver’s License and no proof of insurance at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Front Street and South Newton Avenue in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested for meth, firearm possession

Police cited Quentin Lamont Guyton on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Freeborn County Adult Detention Center. Guyton was escorted from probation to jail.

 

Theft by fraud reported

An individual reportedly tried to use six different credit cards that were rejected at 8:09 p.m. Friday at 702 E. Main St. in Albert Lea.

 

4 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Pedro Cabrera Guiterrez on an arrest warrant for first-degree sale of cocaine/heroin/methamphetamine at 9:12 a.m. Sunday.

Police arrested Shannon Nicole Henderson on a Mower County warrant at 11:19 p.m. Saturday at Walmart in Albert Lea.

Police arrested Benjamin Alberto Padilla Jr. on a local warrant and a domestic abuse no contact order violation at 3:28 a.m. Sunday at 506 Water St. in Albert Lea.

Police arrested Martin John Johnson on a Ramsey County warrant at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday at 221 E. Clark St. in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested for trespassing

Police arrested Keith Eugene Anderson for trespassing and misdemeanor giving false information at 9:37 a.m. Sunday at 604 Water St. in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested for burglary after fleeing deputies

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Christopher Lloyd Vanryswyk for fleeing on foot, trespassing, criminal damage to property and burglary at 5:25 p.m. Monday at 66540 Freeborn County Road 46 in Alden.

 

Man cited for marijuana

Police cited Derek Daniel Gjerstad for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Main Street and South St. Mary Avenue in Albert Lea.
