NORTHWOOD — The Worth County Fairgrounds will host Northwood’s sixth annual TUNE Oktoberfest on Sept. 26. The focus is on food, fun, brews and music in a family-friendly, traditional-fair atmosphere authentic to the actual German Oktoberfest in Munich, accoring to a press release.

Big Ben and the Brian’s Concertina Band returns for a sixth year. Always a crowd pleaser, the band has the stage from 3 to 7 p.m. At 7 p.m., John Carden will take the stage with his genre-spanning, original songwriting style.

Authentic German food includes mouth-watering barbeque — pork loin, brats, hot dogs and red cabbage served all day. The food sales will help fund TUNE’s efforts to improve the community.
