The Retired Educators of Freeborn Country will host its fall meeting and lunch at noon Sept. 10 at America’s Best Value Inn. Michael Cotter, farmer and storyteller, will tell about his memories of farm life and introduce his book, “The Killdeer.”

All retired educators are welcomed to the group, but especially the newly retired educators. ALAREAM exists to provide information about pensions and health and safety, in addition to providing social connections with former colleagues — which is important to retirees.
