Salvation Army to offer character building program

The Salvation Army character building program is now accepting applications for the 2015-16 school year. Applications may be picked up at 302 Court St. in Albert Lea. The program is divided into different age groups: explorers, first through fourth grade; rangers, fifth through eighth grade; moonbeams, four-year-olds and kindergarteners; sunbeams, first through fifth grade; and girl guards, sixth through 12th grade.
The programs is from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday evenings beginning Tuesday.According to a press release, children will enjoy a fun time of structured learning, reading, crafts, recreation and snacks. For more information call 507-373-5710.
