Central Freeborn Lutheran Church will host a soup and dessert supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 12. Adults will be charged $8; children 6 to 12 are $4; and children under 5 are free. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mayo Clinic Health System Freeborn County Hospice Program and Earl Thompson’s Nepal disaster relief. Supplemental funds will be provided by Freeborn County Chapter 31190 and Albert Lea Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Those who attend are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the local food shelves.
