Theft reported

A phone, wallet and keys were reported stolen from a pickup while parked at Blazing Star Trail at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday. The alleged incident reportedly happened Tuesday night.

 

2 men arrested 

Police arrested Jacob Alan Gardner on driving after suspension and fleeing on foot at 7:29 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of College Street and Euclid Avenue. Gardner was wanted by the Austin Police Department on second-degree drug sale.

Police arrested Robert Brian Kline on a local warrant for an order for protection violation at 9:49 p.m. Wednesday at 422 Euclid Ave. in Albert Lea. He was taken to the emergency room to get his finger checked.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday at 77877 235th St., northeast of Albert Lea. No evidence was left on scene. Damage was estimated at less than $50.

 

Gas main hit

A gas main was hit at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday at 614 Krikava St.
