Wilma Zoller, 1928-2015

Funeral services for Wilma LaRue Zoller, 87, of Albert Lea will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Janet White will officiate.Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.
Wilma died Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea.
Wilma LaRue Zoller was born on March 3, 1928, in Manchester Township, the daughter of Nels and Alma (Fiene) Sondergard. Wilma grew up in rural Freeborn and graduated from Freeborn High School in 1945. On July 14, 1946, Wilma was united in marriage to Wilbur Zoller in Bricelyn. They later divorced. She worked at Bridon Cordage Inc. until her retirement.
Wilma was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 60 years and was also a past district president. She enjoyed volunteering, served on the board of SEMCAC and was a crime victim advocate for 15 years. Wilma was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed fishing, rosemal, painting, reading, making crafts and was an avid Twins fan.
Survivors include her children Sharon Jensen, Marcia (Bud) Bedigrew and Shelly (Don Lyons) Carlson; grandchildren Jerry Lynn, James, Christine, Jennifer, Bryan, Lisa, April, Cy and Jeff; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Alan; daughter, Kathryn; and siblings Marilyn, Luverne and Bernard.
