Art Center announces next lecture series speaker

The Albert Lea Art Center will welcome Erin Gustafson, an Albert Lea educator, as its next speaker.
After graduating from college, Gustafson, a born and raised Minnesotan, set off for an adventure with her husband, Andrew, to teach in Nome, Alaska. They spent two years teaching in Nome, 100 miles south of the Arctic Circle and home to the finish of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. She will present on life, culture and lessons learned about living in the Land of the Midnight Sun.
Erin Gustafson’s “Living and Teaching in Nome, Alaska” will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Albert Lea Art Center and is part of the Dorothy Godtland lecture series. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
