HINCKLEY — Hinckley-Finlayson High School has given the all-clear after a lockdown caused when a man was spotted on the roof.
The Pine County sheriff’s office responded just after 11 a.m. Tuesday to an “uninvited persons” complaint from the school.
School officials said two teachers had spotted the man. One teacher confronted the man and was given vague answers. The man then disappeared.
Because there is access to the school building from the roof, the sheriff’s office recommended the school go into lockdown.
Sheriff’s deputies searched the school with the help of staff members, but the man was never found. Authorities don’t believe the man got into the building.
