A Faribault man was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a rollover  crash Friday morning south of Albert Lea.

Chad M. Stauffer, 27, was driving a 2014 Freightliner semi south on Interstate 35, six miles south of Albert Lea, when he lost control and rolled into the median ditch at 11:36 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Stauffer’s injury was deemed not life-threatening.

The southbound lanes of Interstate 35 were blocked, and traffic was able to get by on the right shoulder.

Stauffer was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol wasn’t detected in his system, according to the State Patrol.

Roads were wet at the time of the crash.
