The Cannon Valley Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Faribault Senior Center, 19 W. Division St. in Faribault. There will be questions and answers with decaf coffee and desserts after the presentation.

The presenter for the evening will be Rep. Dean Erdahl. He is a retired public school teacher from Meeker County. Erdahl has written several novels. His latest, “Three Paths to Glory,” dealing with the Minnesota 2nd and 5th Regiments and the 1st Tennesee Regiment. His presentation will be on his new book.
