Thefts reported
Five ladders were reported stolen from a residence at 10:34 a.m. Friday at 1022 S. Newton Ave. The alleged victim said he heard noises at about 2 a.m. Friday and had thought it was the wind. The ladders were estimated at about $200 each to replace. No suspects were reported.
Ramps for a trailer were reported taken at 1:42 p.m. Friday at 1605 Portland Ave. in Albert Lea. The alleged victim described the suspect as a blonde-haired man in a maroon truck.
An aeration fan was reported stolen at 8:05 a.m. Sunday at 17089 770th Ave., outside Albert Lea.
Vehicle stolen
A 1998 red Ford pickup truck was reported stolen at 8:51 a.m. Sunday at 86379 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Albert Lea. The vehicle was reportedly stolen between 9 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
Fires reported
A pickup truck was reported on fire at 4:39 p.m. Friday at 209 St. Peter Ave. in Albert Lea. Additional details weren’t available as of this morning.
A cornfield fire was reported at 4:03 p.m. Saturday at 16633 710th Ave., outside Albert Lea. The cornfield had reportedly been already picked and minimal damage was sustained.
A grass fire was reported at 2 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 13 and Interstate 35. No damage was reported to any poles or crops. The cause of the fire was unknown. The grass fire was reportedly in the southeast corner of the intersection.
One cited for underage drinking
Albert Lea police cited Rio Santiago Acosta, 18, for underage drinking at 1:41 a.m. Saturday on the 200 block of West William Street.
Burglaries reported
A house was reported broken into and damaged at 11:53 a.m. Saturday at 825 Jefferson Ave.
Items were reported stolen from a garage at 8:07 p.m. Friday at 19407 650th Ave., outside Alden.
Man arrested for drug possession
Police arrested and held Brady John Larson, 30, for felony drug possession at 3:26 p.m. Saturday at 2320 Hendrickson Road.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested David August Reisewitz, Jr., 36, on an Anoka County warrant at 12:19 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Hawthorne Street and St. Peter Avenue.
1 arrested for order for protection violation
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Phillip Andrew Myers, 33, for an order of protection violation, speeding and possessing drug paraphernalia at 3:36 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Interstate 90 and Freeborn County Road 26.
