1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Saw Yut, 24, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after suspension at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at 500 Frank Ave.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Jason Steven Allen, 34, on a local warrant for fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart.

 

2 cited for shoplifting

Albert Lea police cited two minors for shoplifting and released them to their parents at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday at 2610 Bridge Ave. Several items, including a USB cord, Bluetooth speaker and mouthguards were reportedly stolen. The items were reportedly returned.

 

1 transported to hospital after rollover

One man was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a semi rollover Wednesday morning at the intersection of 690th Avenue and Freeborn County Road 46. Charles Roger Poeppe was transported for shoulder pain. Poeppe’s injury was deemed not life-threatening by the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The flatbed trailer was reportedly loaded with lumber. The rollover was reported at 7:21 a.m. No other details were available as of press time.
