The Cannon Valley Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Faribault Senior Center, 19 W. Division S. in Faribault.

The presenter for the evening will be George Romano of Rochester. Romano will tell how Christmas won the Civil War. He has spoken in New Ulm, Mankato, Rochester, Wasioja, St. Cloud and Stillwater.

Romano grew up 20 minutes from the Chickamauga Battlefield site in northwest Georgia. He works for IBM in Rochester.

The meeting is free and open to the public. There will be questions and answers with decaf coffee and desserts after the presentation.
