Arc is thankful for volunteers

Volunteers make a world of difference! Thank you to the Freeborn Community for your support of The Arc of Freeborn County’s soup and chili event that took place on Nov. 16. Our gratitude and appreciation extend to everyone who was involved in the success of our event, from volunteers, donors and to all the patrons.

A huge thank you to all the donors of the cupcakes and to Arc members and friends who gave the precious gift of their time  and to all who came out and enjoyed this meal with us. And finally, we would like to especially thank Thrivent Financial for supporting this event through their Thrivent Action Teams #Livegenerously.

Proceeds from the supper will be used to continue our programs and activities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Freeborn County. One offering is the DirectCourse, on-line training of over 40 free classes to help individuals, families and caregivers support individuals to live in a supported environment.
