The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce announces a new holiday promotional program, called Holiday Rewards.

The program is available to all members of the public and puts a focus on chamber member businesses. During the month of December, anyone who brings in 10 receipts from 10 different Chamber member businesses will receive $25 in Chamber bucks with the requirement that each receipt total is a minimum of $25.

The focus of this program is to promote consumer spending in the local area this holiday season with an emphasis on chamber member businesses. However, the receipts do not have to be from gift purchases. According to a press release, receipts could be from a trip to the grocery store for sugar cookie ingredients, a fill-up on gas to get over the river and through the woods to visit your grandmother or any number of reasons to shop locally and find it in Freeborn County.

Keep your receipts from purchases over $25 and when you have gathered 10 receipts from 10 different chamber businesses, bring them to the Chamber office inside the Skyline Plaza at 1725 W. Main Street during office hours for your $25 Chamber Buck gift certificate. For a list of chamber member businesses, visit the Chamber’s website at www.albertlea.org.

All purchases must be dated between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31.
