Fraud attempted

A local person was reported having tampered with a Macy’s account and attempting to open a separate account with the same Social Security number and date of birth at 7:27 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Amber Oakland, 37, on a warrant for gross misdemeanor check forgery at 4:35 a.m. Monday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

1 arrested for probation violation

Deputies arrested Shepperd Lawrence Robins-Priestley on a probation violation at 2:49 p.m. Monday at 408 S. Broadway.

 

Fraud reported

A bank reportedly requested someone to report fraudulent charges on an account at 9:46 a.m. Monday at 67923 270th St., outside Alden.
