Mary Helen (Brua) Miller, 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at her son’s residence in Twin Lakes after enjoying Christmas Day with family and several of her great-grandchildren.

She was born July 24, 1930, to Toye Kemlin and Agatha (Johnson) Brua west of Emmons.

She graduated from Emmons High School and married her high school sweetheart, Ervin Miller, on June 12, 1949.

Mary and Ervin lived in Twin Lakes until 1986 when they moved to Portland, Oregon. They resided there until Erv passed away in January 2013. Shortly after, Mary moved back to Albert Lea to be near to family and friends.

She lived a very blessed life. Mary and Erv traveled the world extensively. Her greatest joys were visiting cousins, family and friends. She loved people, life and the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Roger and Marvin; and sisters Ardus and LaRue.

She is survived by her daughters Marsha (Etsuro) and JoAnn (Steve); son, Ross (Deb); grandchildren Jason (Rachel), Trisha (Matt), Breanna (Victor), Joshua (Jodi), Zach (Jill) and Jenna; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea.  Friends may visit one hour before services at the funeral home.
