Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and Austin is pleased to welcome Scott Martinson, to the eye services department on its Albert Lea campus.

Martinson received his doctor of optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, and completed clinical externships in primary care, ocular diseases and specialty contact lenses. He grew up in Alden and is a graduate of Alden-Conger High School. Martinson has special interest in diabetic eye exams and ocular disease.

“Dr. Martinson is a great addition to our staff,” said Sumit Bhagra, medical director. “He is a native of the area and we are pleased to add him to our team.”
