First Lutheran Church will celebrate its Advent Adventure with a recital and lunch Wednesday. The event will begin at 11 a.m. with a devotion and prayer time; lunch at 11:30 a.m.; the recital from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. and a stroll through the Nativity walk at 1:15 p.m.

The lunch will cost $6, and reservations need to be made by noon on Monday. There is no admission fee for the recital. To make a reservation call the office at 507-373-6424. The special guest will be pianist and organist Tim O’Shields.

O’Shields is minister of music and worship at First Lutheran Church of Albert Lea. He will present a mixed-media recital on an Austin piano and Steinway piano.
