The city of Albert Lea has announced its winter hours, which will run through March 31, 2016.

The transfer station will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Services of the transfer station include household garbage disposal, demolition debris disposal, brush disposal, yard waste composting, electronics recycling, appliance recycling, used oil recycling, scrap metal recycling, cardboard/paper recycling and  glass/can recycling.
