Forest City Community Schools and Lake Mills Community School were two hours late this morning due to the second winter snowfall of the season.

The National Weather Service forecasts occasional light snow for Forest City and Lake Mills before 11 a.m. There is a chance of snow between 11 a.m. and noon, then scattered snow showers after noon. Total daytime snow accumulation is expected to less than a half- inch.
