1 arrested for DWI

Police arrested Scott Alan Johnson, 55, for second-degree driving while intoxicated at 2:01 a.m. Saturday at 2200 W. Ninth St.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Tyler Leroy Egeness, 22, on a warrant at 5:19 a.m. Friday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Bike stolen

A Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen along with a backpack at 3:09 p.m. Friday at 405 Columbus Ave. Forced entry was reported. The items were reportedly stolen from the residence when the homeowner was gone.

 

2 arrested on violations

Police arrested Sandra Lee Tischler, 48, and Michael Dean Weitzel, 48, on apprehension and detention orders at 3:06 a.m. Saturday at 115  1/2 W. College St.

 

Wallet stolen

A wallet was reported stolen out of a shopping cart at 3:53 p.m. Sunday at Walmart. A suspect was described as being a white male in his mid-20s with a black and red jacket with a hoodie pulled up and a hat on. He reportedly swiped the wallet off the top of the shopping cart and placed it in a car seat.
